MED 291R Medical Assisting Internship Seminar

Seminar course to be taken with the internship. Weekly discussion of the progress and experiences in the internship. Review of theory and skills from the medical assisting program to prepare students for entry into the workforce. Prerequisite: ALH 151S , MED 230S , MED 233S , MED 120S , MED 150S , MED 220S with grades of C’ or better. Co-requisite: MED 291L . Completion of pre-internship competency checklist. Departmental permission. Lab Fee: $160 (Additional fees will apply for online, flex and webflex sections.)
