The Real Estate Certificate provides outgoing, motivated and self-directed individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to enter the real estate field. Approved by the State of Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Real Estate, the curriculum includes the four required pre-licensure courses, which prepare students for the state licensure exam. The program also provides students with basic courses in accounting, economics, salesmanship and mathematics. An Ohio Real Estate Commission-approved continuing education course required for all salespeople within the first year after licensure is also offered by Edison State. Course work in this program articulates into the Associate of Applied Business degree in Real Estate.
