Fundamentals course that provides a solid grounding in the essential elements of computer security. This course will include understanding security measures, techniques for securing systems, legal issues, basic intrusion detection and recovery methods. Criminal record background check required. Prerequisite: CIS 211S , CIS 214S , and CIS 215S or equivalent. Lab Fee: $148 (Additional fees will apply for flex and webflex sections.)
