Transfer Agreements  

The Networking Short-Term Technical Certificate provides students with the skills to enter a new job field or advance in their current one. Students who complete this certificate are prepared for the Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) exam. Short-Term Technical Certificates consist of three to seven courses that can be completed in a year or less. To receive a Certificate of Completion, students must complete the required courses with a cumulative GPA of “C” or better and complete an application for certificate.
NOTE  Federal Financial Aid is not available for Short-Term Technical Certificate programs, but scholarship assistance may be available.
NOTE  Students pursuing a Short-Term Technical Certificate may need to satisfy course prerequisites which may include placement testing.

Program Outcomes ►
The student will

  1. apply positive ethical standards across various situations and industries;
  2. use effective interpersonal skills to discuss important industry-specific concepts;
  3. demonstrate an ability to design and maintain business networks to ensure operational efficiency, stability, and security; and
  4. establish and implement security measures to protect information assets and maintain data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
