The Networking Certificate is a one-year program incorporating the Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) courses. Edison State Community College is a recognized Cisco Academy commissioned to deliver training.♦

Program Outcomes ►
The student will

  1. apply positive ethical standards across various situations and industries;
  2. use effective interpersonal skills to discuss important industry-specific concepts and to interact in diverse team environments;
  3. communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders through written, oral, and digital means to convey industry-related information;
  4. demonstrate an ability to design and maintain business networks to ensure operational efficiency, stability, and security;
  5. demonstrate an ability to build, configure, manage, or troubleshoot networks using industry-standard tools and techniques; and
  6. establish and implement security measures to protect information assets and maintain data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
