Farm Management Certificate

The Farm Management certificate option prepares individuals for career success in entrepreneurship or competent employment in the agriculture industry. Course work in this program articulates into the Associate of Applied Science in Agriculture. 

Program Outcomes ►
The student will

  1. demonstrate skills in oral and written communication;
  2. recognize the value of good ethical standards and their application to business and agriculture;
  3. develop leadership and team building to promote collaboration and advocacy;
  4. demonstrate current and emerging strategies and technologies used in agriculture;
  5. develop skills and knowledge in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and business operations;
  6. examine and employ economic principles, concepts, and policies to accomplish organizational goals and profitability;
  7. demonstrate ability to evaluate the situation and recommend action;
  8. demonstrate understanding of proper care and production of plant, animal, or natural resource products; and
  9. demonstrate ability to use latest technology to evaluate data and make productive decisions.
