Automation and Robotics Certificate


The Automation and Robotics Certificate provides students with a portion of the technical course components from the Associate of Applied Science degree in Automation and Robotics. This certificate program may be of greatest benefit to those who are employed and seeking technical advancement for promotion or have limited time and resources.


Program Outcomes ►
The student will

  1. demonstrate proficiency with electrical and electronic components and circuits;
  2. demonstrate applications of electronics and electrical components to industrial controls design;
  3. develop controls design techniques using the latest technology;
  4. demonstrate application of accepted industry safety practices;
  5. demonstrate problem-solving skills and troubleshooting techniques in electrical controls; and
  6. explain ethical considerations involved in controls design.
