NUR 265S Clinical Applications in Nursing II 7.50 credit hours
Focuses on the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to practice evidence-based, patient-centered nursing. Competency areas include comprehensive assessment of human needs and care management of patients experiencing complex medical-surgical or mental-health changes. Focus areas include demonstrating abilities related to teamwork and collaboration, quality improvement, safety and informatics. Clinical opportunities include hospital medical-surgical units, mental health facilities, and community placements. Prerequisite: NUR 165S or NUR 210S , BIO 242S and with a grade of “C” or better.
