VET 101S Introduction to Veterinary Technology

Introduction to the field of veterinary technology. Discussion will include roles in varying areas of veterinary medicine, including areas beyond private practice. An overview of regulatory agencies, law, and ethics of the veterinary field will be covered. Registration with the Ohio Veterinary Medical Licensing Board and the Ohio Veterinary Practice Act are discussed. Prerequisite: Department acceptance into the veterinary technology program.
