NET 100S Introduction to the Internet

Use of personal computers and the Internet for communication and accessing remote information. The course emphasizes expectations for college-level and professional work using email, web browsers, instant messaging, discussion boards, file exchange and collaboration. The course serves as an introduction to the college’s online learning environment, and as a demonstration of readiness for online learning. Prerequisite: CIS 100S . Lab Fee: $16 (Additional fees will apply for flex and webflex sections.)
