CRJ 113S Intro to Corrections and Jail Operations3.00 credit hours
Overview of the legal processing of offenders and the agencies and programs which are responsible for correcting offenders. Topics covered include the components of the correctional system from arrest to case disposition, including jails, detention centers, probation and intermediate sanctions. Correction functions, institutional clients, the rights of those clients, and reintegration systems are also covered. Prerequisite: CRJ 111S .
