Web Design Short-Term Technical Certificate | Part-Time

The Web Design Short-Term Technical Certificate provides students with the skills to enter a new job field or advance in their current one. Students will learn to develop, test and maintain websites from the front-end (client-side) and back-end (server-side) to ensure that they understand all aspects of the web development process while using the latest standards of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This certificate prepares students to obtain the Web Design Specialist certification from CIW. Short-Term Technical Certificates consist of three to seven courses that can be completed in a year or less. To receive a Certificate of Completion, students must complete the required courses with a cumulative GPA of “C” or better and complete an application for certificate.
NOTE  Federal Financial Aid is not available for Short-Term Technical Certificate programs, but scholarship assistance may be available.
NOTE  Students pursuing a Short-Term Technical Certificate may need to satisfy course prerequisites which may include placement testing.

♦ Students enrolled in this program are permitted and encouraged to develop an electronic portfolio by taking IMD 292S  during their final term.
