VET 160S Husbandry and Wellness of Small Animals 3.00 credit hours
Overview of the basic husbandry of dogs and cats with a focus on wellness and preventive medicine. The course will introduce common breeds, proper grooming, and physical examination. Emphasis on completing proper handling/restraint, performing physical examinations, grooming, completing ocular diagnostic tests, and administering oral medication will be incorporated with 32 hours of hands-on experience. Prerequisite: VET 101S , VET 125S , VET 151S . Lab Fee: $95 (Additional fees will apply for online, flex and webflex sections.) SPRING
