SSV 213S Group Work in Social Services 3.00 credit hours
History, practice, and theory of group work as it relates to the social service setting. Student will have the opportunity to develop/sharpen personal awareness skills and interpersonal communication skills via group interaction and participation. At least half of the class is participatory (experiential), involving the student as a group member and facilitator. Recommended: Recommended preparation: SSV 111S and SSV 112S .
