MED 291R Medical Assisting Internship Seminar

Weekly discussion of the progress and experiences in the internship. Students will review theory and skills from the medical assistant program to prepare students for entry into the workforce. Students must sit for the CMA examination to pass this course. Prerequisite: MED 120S , MED 150S , MED 180S , MED 220S , MED 230S , and MED 233S with grades of ‘C’ or better. Co-requisite: MED 291L . Completion of pre-internship competency checklist. Departmental permission. Lab Fee: $160 (Additional fees will apply for online, flex and webflex sections.)
