PAR 260S Paramedic IV4.00 credit hours
This course provides paramedic candidates with the knowledge and skills to integrate assessment findings with principles of epidemiology and pathophysiology to formulate a field impression and implement a comprehensive treatment/disposition plan for patients with a wide range of medical issues. Specific patient types and the most common types of emergencies are included. Operation of an emergency medical system is reviewed. The interaction with various teams of first responders is discussed. Prerequisite: PAR 250S with a grade of C or better.
