VET 291L Veterinary Technology Internship Experience

2.00 credit hours

Students will be supervised by a licensed veterinarian and/or registered veterinary technician in a practice of their choice. They will be required to further develop and refine previously acquired skills to become a competent veterinary technician in a future career position. A minimum of 256 internship hours will be required to be completed in this course. Prerequisite: VET 285S and departmental permission. Co-requisite: VET 291R .
