PLS 122S State & Local Government

3.00 credit hours

Survey of the basic principles relating to the structure, operation, and policy-making processes at the state and local levels of government.  Impact of the political environment, culture, tradition, levels of economic development, and the effects of political forces on state and local government are also examined. Prerequisite: Qualifying assessment scores in reading and writing or satisfactory completion of ENG 092D . Lab Fee: (Additional fees will apply for online, flex and webflex sections.)
