Basic presentation of the game of golf, its history, background, development, rules, equipment, terminology, strategies for competition, and etiquette as currently defined by USGA. Emphasis on the stance, grip, proper execution of the fundamentals, and course knowledge will enhance the student’s appreciation of the game and will allow for improvement within the sport.
