Introduction to the chemistry within living organisms. Review of acids, bases, and bonding. Survey of organic chemistry and biochemistry. Solutions, important types of organic molecules and selected reactions, structures and functions of carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids. Designed for students in health technologies.
