IMT 250S Industrial Operations Project

3.00 credit hours

Capstone course for the Industrial Operations option of the Industrial Management program, involving a real-world industrial management experience, utilizing the knowledge and experience gained in previous industrial and manufacturing management courses. Students will integrate all problem solving concepts learned in functional core courses. Specifically, they will learn to apply the use of budgeting, operations management, financial accounting, marketing, strategic analysis, forecasting, problem solving, decision making, human resource management, and reporting and public relations. They will experience broad decision-making processes, write reports, and give a culminating presentation. Prerequisite: A grade of ‘C’ or better in IMT 112S , IMT 120S , IMT 130S , IMT 220S , IMT 242S , IMT 244S  OR IMT 246S , MGT 110S , MGT 126S , AND MGT 219S . Prerequisite or Co-requisite: MGT 230S . Lab Fee: (Additional fees will apply for online, flex and webflex sections.)
