NUR 265S Clinical Applications in Nursing II7.5 credit hours
Focuses on the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to practice evidence-based, patient-centered nursing. Competency areas include comprehensive assessment of human needs and care management of patients experiencing complex medical-surgical or mental-health changes. Focus areas include demonstrating abilities related to teamwork and collaboration, quality improvement, safety and informatics. Clinical opportunities include hospital medical-surgical units, youth and adult mental health facilities, and community placements. Prerequisite: NUR 165S , BIO 126S , BIO 240S and BIO 241S with a grade of ‘C’ or better. Lab Fee: $142 FALL | SPRING
