SOC 224S Race & Ethnicity

3.00 credit hours

Introduction to the sociological study of racial and ethnic relations in the United States through the study of principles, sociological theories, processes and consequences of interracial and ethnic group relations. Emphasis will be placed on the effects of diverse groups in the institutions of American society. Prerequisite: Qualifying assessment scores in reading and writing or satisfactory completion of ENG 091D  and ENG 093D .
