This Associate of Science advising track maximizes credit transfer and is for students who know they will transfer to a 4-year Business Management program after completing a degree at Edison Community College.
Students in this Business program should plan their courses with the assistance of a faculty advisor after checking the requirements of the college to which they intend to transfer. Electives should be chosen carefully according to the desired major at the transfer institution and based on frequent consultation by the student with the assigned Edison faculty advisor. The courses listed reflect the minimum requirements for the Associate of Science degree. By completing these requirements and following the guidelines found in the Transfer Module, all degree and transfer requirements will be met. Additional courses or courses with higher credit value may be taken in order to meet the requirements of the major at the transfer institution.
Students are conditionally admitted to the Associate of Science degree program until all of the following requirements are met:
Completed application form.
Official high school transcripts or GED score reports.
Official transcripts from all colleges and universities previously attended.
American College Test (ACT) or Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) results if previously taken, OR
COMPASS assessment scores in English, reading, and math, except for those candidates who have completed at least 15 semester hours of credit at other accredited institutions of higher education (including math and English courses) or who have qualifying scores on the ACT or SAT.
