SOC 121S Introduction to Sociology

Basic concepts, theories, and scientific methodology of sociology.  Includes an emphasis on processes through which people shape and are shaped by their social environment, culture, social structures, and institutions. Prerequisite: Qualifying assessment scores in reading and writing or satisfactory completion of ENG 091D  and ENG 093D .
