NEP 239S Configuring Advanced Windows Server3.00 credit hours
Implementation, management, and maintenance of a Windows Server network infrastructure and configuration in a Windows Server environment. Includes implementation of routing, managing and maintaining Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Domain Name System (DNS) and Windows Internet Name Service (WINS); securing Internet Protocol (IP) traffic with Internet Protocol security (IPSec) and certificates; network access infrastructure; managing and monitoring network access. Prepares students for the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist exam. Prerequisite: Grade of "C" or better in NEP 237S , or department approval. Lab Fee: $96 FALL
