CIT 280S Mobile Applications Development

3.00 credit hours

Introduction to programming for various platforms used on small and mobile devices. Platforms will include Google Android, Android-compatible, and Microsoft Windows Phone 7. Students will develop applications for three major smartphone platforms. Students will create applications for each platform using specialized development environments. This course teaches fundamental programming and computer science concepts including types, variables, branching, loops, object-oriented programming, programming planning, and GUI programming. Prerequisite: Completion of CIT 222S  or CIT 211S , MTH 099D , and ENG 093D  with grades of "C" or better. Lab Fee: $36
