ELT 221S Electronic Circuits

4.00 credit hours

Examines electronic subsystems that are the basis of all electronic systems and builds upon the electronic devices and circuits presented in ELT 121S . Operational amplifiers (op-amps), filter circuits, oscillators, power and instrumentation amplifiers, proportional integral derivative (PID) control, power supplies, data conversion, optoelectronics, transducers, and actuators are presented. The design, construction, testing and troubleshooting of these systems is emphasized. Prerequisite: ELT 121S . Co-requisite: MTH 122S . Lab Fee: $50
