EGR 270S Introduction to Renewable Energy

3.00 credit hours

Introduction to the principles and history of renewable energy systems--emphasis placed on the mechanics of energy and how it is conserved and generated. Topics covered include solar, hydro, wind, biofuels, hydrogen, etc. Students will gain knowledge of sustainability potential and future cost based practicality for various energy sources. Prerequisite: Grade 'C' or better in MTH 098D  or equivalent. Lab Fee: $30
