NUR 190S LPN to RN Transition

3.00 credit hours

Ohio Nursing Articulation Model transition course that provides exploration of the integrative concepts in nursing, refinement, and updating previous learning, and identifying goals for a successful transition to the registered nursing program. Combined with classroom and nursing laboratory experience, learning is by the application of concepts. Demonstration of the ability to solve problems through the use of the nursing process with a focus on client assessment and effective communication will be covered. Prerequisite: BIO 125S , CHM 111S , ENG 121S , MTH 099D , NET 100S , PSY 121S , and departmental acceptance into nursing program. Co-requisite: BIO 126S . (Students not continuing in Edison's nursing program are admitted as transient students and must provide written proof that they have been admitted to respective nursing programs. This proof will serve as departmental acceptance.) Lab Fee: $42
