NEP 234S MS Win Server 2008 Network Infrastructure

3.00 credit hours

Implementation, management, and maintenance of a Windows Server 2008 network infrastructure and configuration in a Windows Server 2008 environment. Includes implementation of routing, managing and maintaining Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Domain Name System (DNS) and Windows Internet Name Service (WINS); securing Internet Protocol (IP) traffic with Internet Protocol security (IPSec) and certificates; a network access infrastructure; managing and monitoring network access. Prepares students for the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist exam: 70-642: Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure Configuration. Prerequisite: grade of 'C' or better in NEP 233S  or department approval. Lab Fee: $135
