Planning, implementation and troubleshooting a Windows Server 2008 Active Directory infrastructure. Emphasis on environment, including forest and domain structure, Domain Name System (DNS), site topology and replication, organizational unit structure and delegation of administration, Group Policy and computer account strategies. Prepares students for the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist exam: 70-640: Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Configuration. Prerequisite: grade of 'C' or better in CIT 211S , or A+ certification, or department approval. Lab Fee: $135
