CSC 170S Multi-Layer Switching

4.00 credit hours

Prepares students to build campus networks using multi-layer switching technologies over high speed Ethernet. The class will include an overview of SPT, bridging, switching and VLAN management. Students will also design, configure and troubleshoot multi-layered switched and routed networks. The class is designed to prepare the student to pursue the Cisco CCNP examination. Prerequisite: Grade of 'C' or better in CSC 130S . Co-requisite: CSC 131S  or CCNA certification. Lab Fee: $192
